Unable to install any plugins in studio

I am trying to install DataModel plugin in N-studio using Plugins>Manage Plugins > Plugins. After I select the checkbox for DataModel Plugin and click ‘Add’, I get a toast message “Failed to install plugins”. On the terminal, ‘npm install’ executes successfully with an ‘up to date’ message. How do I get this resolved? I have tried other available plugins too. All result in the same error message

The DataModel plugin should already be installed on N-Studio.
Especially if the initialization ran successfully.
